50th Anniversary Poet Match

On January 27, nine poets who served various roles in Small Press Traffic’s development as former directors, organizers, readers, and participants — Norma Cole, Tonya Foster, Samantha Giles, Robert Glück, Owen Hill, Dana Teen Lomax, Camille Roy, Juliana Spahr, and Elizabeth Treadwell — will read a poem of their choice by a poet they love to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

Before the reading begins, we invite you to put your knowledge of the unique tastes and fancies of Bay Area poets to the test. Who’s reading which poem? We’ll have sheets available for you to play a matching game: draw a line connecting each reader's name with the poem you think they’ll read. A perfect score will be rewarded with special 50th merch!

The game will be available to play from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, when all sheets will be collected and the reading will begin.

Below is a graphic of the sheet to help you visualize the game and come prepared. A PDF of all poems is forthcoming!
